The Nigerian Government has received the samples of Russia’s COVID-19 vaccine

Eminent: The Nigerian Government has received the samples of Russia’s COVID-19 vaccine.
Russia’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Alexey Shebarshin gave the samples of the COVID-19 vaccine to the Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire during a visit to the Ministry in Abuja on Friday. The Russian Ambassador also handed over to the Minister an aide memoire which gives details about the vaccine to help the Nigerian Government conduct further research on it. “We are exploring all knowledge in terms of therapeutics and vaccines,” the Ministry quoted Ehanire as saying. “We are expressing our interest in the COVID-19 vaccine so that we will have the opportunity to work elaborately.” He explained that the country has been taking part in a series of knowledge exchange and contact with several research bodies and nations in a bid to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. Ehanire noted that the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Nigeria for the right of access, immediately the Russian COVID-19 vaccine was announced. The Director of Hospital Services Department in the Ministry, Dr Adepimpe Adebiyi who was also present at the event said it is an opportunity to expand Nigeria’s vaccine production. “The technical officers will interphase with the #Russian team in order to strengthen the relationship between Nigeria and Russia,” he said. ‘No Serious Adverse Events’ Russia had on August 11th, 2020, announced that it had developed the vaccine which has now shown some signs of success in early trials. Patients involved in early tests of the vaccine developed antibodies with “no serious adverse events”, according to research published in The Lancet Friday, but experts said the trials were too small to prove safety and effectiveness. Russia announced last month that its vaccine, named “Sputnik V” after the Soviet-era satellite that was the first launched into space in 1957, had already received approval. This raised concerns among Western scientists over a lack of safety data, with some warning that moving too quickly on a vaccine could be dangerous. Russia denounced criticism as an attempt to undermine Moscow’s research. READ MORE FROM CHANNELS TV

Cross Over 2024? TO WHERE EXACTLY

Cross over without carry over! CROSS-OVER? TO Where Exactly?  That sounds nice, really nice! That will make a good line for spoken words, poems, motivations and so on but in reality, it makes just a little or no sense. Whatever you have not been able to address this year will follow you into next year. And please, carryover is not a bad thing to some sort. The debts you ran into this year and never settled it will follow you into next year no matter how you prayed! The clothes you didn’t wash on 31st night won’t suddenly appear neat on 1st January. There is no single difference between the new year and the old year just that you are reminded that time is passing! It is the same air, the same atmosphere, the same issues… Nothing changes except what you choose to change. It is better to carry over things and really solve them next year than thinking you’d run away from it because you spent a few hours in Church on 31st night. The only thing about the New Year is the change of number,...

RAISE MEN THAT RAISE MEN

"Raise men in men, as only men grows men, you won't continue to be strong always.  For the strength of a nation is not in its military might, nor in its technological advancements, but in the character of its citizens.  The future belongs to those who are willing to nurture, to guide, and to empower the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and change-makers. As we strive to build a better world, let us recognize that true strength lies not in dominance, but in vulnerability; not in power, but in compassion; and not in individual greatness, but in collective progress. Let us raise men who are vulnerable enough to show emotion, courageous enough to stand for what is right, and resilient enough to weather life's storms.  Let us raise men who will lift others up, who will listen, and who will lead with empathy and kindness. For when we raise men who embody these qualities, we create a world where everyone can thrive, regardless of gender, race, or background. A world where s...

LIFE’S A BRILLIANT MIXTURE OF IT ALL

Is life solely about benevolently donating each passionately eclectic instant of yours; to every tangible and intangibly hapless fragment of deteriorating living kind?  Is life solely about fervently loving someone so much; that brand new definitions of love were immortally embedded once again in every perceivably suspended ingredient—of the invincible atmosphere?   Is life solely about fantasizing beyond the realms of the ordinary; plunging deeper and deeper each zipping second; into an unfathomable gorge of inscrutably uncanny excitement?  Is life solely about inexhaustibly admiring every single of the Omniscient Lord's infinite creations; transforming into the truest poet at the tiniest insinuation of blossoming nature divine?  Is life solely about befriending everyone around you irrespective of caste; creed; religion or tribe; and irrespective of whether it was the worst of your enemy pugnaciously staring down the whites of your eyes?  Is life ...
